The Summit is a solid cedar backyard sauna for 2 to 6 people, with a pitched steel roof and a choice of three heaters, two of which you can start from your phone.
Handcrafted in Idaho Falls from 100% natural Western Red Cedar, with no glues or toxins in the build, the Summit is made to stand outside all year. The pitched steel roof sheds rain and snow, and the modular panels go together in an afternoon. Pick the Small for 2 people, the Regular for 4 or the Large for 6, then choose the heater: the Harvia KIP 8 kW with built-in controls, or the Homecraft Revive 9 kW or HUUM Drop 9 kW. The Homecraft and HUUM connect over WiFi, so you can preheat from the app and walk into a sauna that is already hot. You also choose which side the door and window sit on. It reaches up to 200 F, the traditional Finnish range of 170 to 200 F.

Fit, power and setup
Leave a level outdoor spot of about 80 by 59 inches for the Regular or 80 by 83 inches for the Large, plus room to open the door. The heater needs a dedicated hardwired connection by a licensed electrician; the Homecraft Revive 9 kW runs on a 50A breaker with 6/3 wire. Most owners spend about $500 to $1,500 on the electrical work, depending on the distance from the panel. Assembly takes about 3 to 5 hours with 2 to 3 people and basic tools. It ships by freight, free to the contiguous US.
