MotoTec Venom 72v 12000w 50ah Off-Road Electric Dirt Bike Black

Built for a rider 16 or older who wants full size dirt bike performance and instant electric torque, with none of the gas engine upkeep.

The Venom 72v 12000w is MotoTec's electric dirt bike, with a 72 volt drivetrain rated at 3000 watts continuous and 12,000 watts peak, enough for a 77 mph top speed and 0 to 62 mph in about 5 seconds. Its 72v 50ah lithium ion battery is good for 4 to 5 hours of casual trail riding, and pulls out on a quick release mount for charging or a fast swap. It stands apart from the Venom 30000w in this lineup with a 4 speed manual clutch transmission and a foot shift, which puts the rider in control of power delivery the way a gas dirt bike would.

Why this model

• 12,000 watts of peak power and 65 Nm of peak torque get you off the line fast and up steep sections without a weak midrange.
• A 72v 50ah lithium battery, built on CATL cells (the same supplier Tesla uses), gives 4 to 5 hours of trail riding, plenty for a full afternoon out.
• 4 speed manual clutch transmission with a foot shift and reverse gear lets an experienced rider manage power like a gas bike, not one fixed throttle curve.
• Front and rear hydraulic disc brakes and single cavity, double adjustable shocks give real stopping power and suspension control on rough ground.
• Regenerative braking feeds power back into the battery every time you slow down, stretching your range.

Fit, power and setup

This dirt bike ships by freight in a box measuring 62 by 33 by 18 inches and weighing about 265 lbs, so the carrier will call ahead to schedule a curbside delivery appointment. Plan on private land or an off-road park with enough room for a 77 mph top end.
