The S-Line 2 person Full Spectrum is the pick for anyone who wants near and far infrared in a compact cabin that plugs into a standard outlet.
This Pacific cedar cabin from Maxxus's S-Line combines 3 near zero EMF carbon far infrared panels with 4 near infrared heat emitters, 7 heating elements in total. It measures 48" x 42" x 75" outside with 44" x 37" x 68" inside, sized for two people rather than three or four. Unlike Maxxus's larger 120V/20A cabins, this one runs on a 120V, 15 amp plug and play circuit, so it does not require an electrician in most homes.
Why this model
- 7 total heating elements, 3 far infrared carbon panels plus 4 near infrared emitters, for a broader infrared mix than a single wavelength cabin.
- Runs on a 120V/15A plug and play circuit, so a standard outlet works and an electrician is usually not needed.
- 44" x 37" x 68" interior is sized for 2, a fit for a bathroom, closet or small bonus room.
- Bronze tinted tempered glass door and chromotherapy lighting with a red light feature for a full featured session.
- Ships in just 2 boxes, lighter freight than the brand's 3 and 4 person cabins.

Fit, power and setup
Plan for a 48" by 42" footprint plus door swing, with at least 75" of ceiling height. Because it runs on a 120V/15A plug and play circuit, a standard household outlet works, though Maxxus recommends a dedicated one. Two people can clasp it together in about an hour, and it ships freight in 2 boxes with the carrier calling to schedule curbside delivery.
Good to know
- Full Spectrum combines near and far infrared in one cabin rather than far infrared alone.
- This size fits 2 people, good for a primary bath, closet conversion or small bonus room.
- Plug and play 120V/15A means no electrician for most homes, though a dedicated outlet is recommended.
- The cabin runs 118 F to 132 F and can heat up to 140 F.
Cedar wood can cause skin or eye irritation or an allergic reaction in some people; stop use if that happens. Screen colors may not exactly match the wood tone and finish you receive, since photography and lighting affect how color displays.
